One Room, Four Customers
Global Furnovate
Bangalore — 2026
AI Imagery

The same room, styled for four different buyers, and not one product pretending to be something it isn't.
Most AI imagery starts with a prompt and hopes for the best. This started with a real photograph of a furniture showroom and one constraint: the room could change for each customer, but the products could never misrepresent what someone would actually receive.
The images are half the work. The other half is a written policy covering which tools are approved for which job, what AI may and may never change, a review gate every image passes before it ships, and native review for anything in Arabic. Global Furnovate is a concept brand, so this is the framework I would put in place for a real one.
Role
- Art direction
- AI image production
- Creative governance

Four customers
Each persona maps to one of the brand's three divisions, and each styling choice answers a specific need.

Young family
Interior Design division. A living room that looks premium but survives real family life.
- Spills and sticky hands: performance fabric on the sofa
- Toddlers running around: rounded table, no sharp corners
- Toy clutter: a storage basket so toys have a home
- Parents still want style: a calm, editorial palette

Young professional
Showroom division. A one-bedroom apartment that works as a home office two days a week.
- Works from home: reading lamp, laptop and coffee within reach
- Small apartment: few pieces, slim profiles
- Entertains friends: one leather accent chair as a talking point
- Wants to look put-together: a restrained palette and one strong artwork

Host family, Gulf villa
Interior Design division. A space ready for guests during Ramadan, Eid and every week in between.
- Hosts often: generous seating, coffee and dates ready to serve
- Values hospitality: a brass tray table as the centrepiece
- Luxury without excess: velvet and brass balanced with ivory
- Regional identity: calligraphy and geometric pattern kept contemporary, never themed

Boutique hotel lounge
Contract division. A buyer with a specification sheet, choosing for 120 rooms and hundreds of guests a day.
- Heavy daily use: commercial-grade fabric and tight seats that hold their shape
- Easy to maintain: stone tops, low-pile rug, few loose items
- Must look premium: oak, stone and a curated display
- Repeatable across the property: symmetry and matching pieces
Process
Consistency across a set is the hard problem in AI imagery. The process is built around it.
- 01Start from a real, licensed photograph and keep it untouched as the reference
- 02Write one fixed block of instructions for what must never change, and use it word for word in every prompt
- 03Test one persona before producing the set, and fix the prompt if anything drifts
- 04Generate every persona from the original photograph, never from a previous edit
- 05Compare each result with the original at 100% zoom before approving it
- 06Finish and upscale in Photoshop, and keep a full-resolution master for print
The rule
Real product, AI context. AI may change where and how a product is shown, never what the customer receives.
| AI may change | AI may never change |
|---|---|
| Lighting, time of day, season | A product's shape, size or proportions |
| Room setting and background | Material, fabric, colour or finish of a product for sale |
| Styling props | Add a product that isn't in the catalogue as if it were for sale |
| Removing clutter, tags and people | Invent customers, testimonials or reviews |
| Crops, formats and upscaling | Alter architecture or drawings a client supplied |
Approved tools
Tools are approved by job, not by preference. Anything customer-facing comes from a production tool, or is finished in one.
| Tier | Tool | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Production | Adobe Firefly, Photoshop | Anything customer-facing: web, print, social, product pages |
| Editing | Google Gemini | Styling edits on photographs we own or license |
| Exploration | Midjourney and similar | Moodboards and early direction. Output never ships |
Review gate
No image ships until it passes all six checks.
- Geometry: walls, ceiling and floor lines match the original
- Product truth: every product for sale matches the catalogue
- Artefacts: no melted objects, extra chair legs or ghost price tags
- Text: no garbled or fake text, and native review for anything in Arabic
- Brand: palette, mood and styling match the division
- Source: the base image is owned or licensed for editing
